CLIC's 2018 Annual Fun Run

The excitement is building over this year’s annual CLIC Fun Run scheduled for Saturday, February 10 at Kenneth Hahn Park. This is an amazing and enjoyable event where we reach out to our family and friends and ask for support for our children’s education and, in exchange, the children will run around a track with their classmates and teachers. This event not only raises funds for our school, but also encourages children to partake in a healthy and fun activity!

This year’s goal is $75,000! We can do this CLIC Tiger CUBS! Together we roar! ¡Juntos rugimos!

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly happens at the Fun Run?

The CLIC Fun Run will take place on a Saturday at Kenneth Hahn State Park. Because the park charges for parking on the weekend, plan to carpool but if you qualify for free lunch and need extra help to cover the $6/car fee, please let us know. You will need to bring and supervise your child there so plan to stay and make a fun morning of it. During the event, students will run/walk with their class around a track. We plan to finish with a CLIC-nic. This will be a fun community-building event.

Do all the funds raised go back to the school?

After processing fees, 100% of the funds raised go to CLIC.

What are the funds used for?

Teacher assistants, field trips, art and music instruction and additional costs that charter schools pay that traditional public schools do not.

Where can people donate in my child’s name?

You can set up your child’s donation page through this website: https://www.thegetmovincrew.com/

Who can I ask to donate?

In years past parents have reached out to grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors and co-workers. The great thing about the web page is it is very easy to share on Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages. Donations have come in from friends and family across the country and all over the world. So spread the word! Remember that we are asking for a flat fee donation amount not a per lap amount.
