Family Giving Campaign
We need YOUR help to make this Family Giving Campaign successful!
We need every family’s help to keep CLIC thriving! The donations you make help bridge the gap between government funds our school receives and the actual cost of the wonderful programs that make CLIC such an amazing school for our children. All donations are tax-deductible.

The Family Giving Campaign is our biggest,
most important fundraiser of the school year.
Why? Our donations are how we raise most of the funds that help keep possible all the extra special things we and our kids love about CLIC. The Family Giving Campaign aims to raise $200,000 of the overall $225,000 fundraising goal.
Every fundraising activity CLIC has planned for this year assumes reaching the $225,000 overall goal. If we fall short of our budgeted amount, we may have to cut some of the programs or reduce specialized staff during the year; every dollar counts!
We are striving for 100% participation from our CLIC familia to reach our family giving goal.
No amount is too small. All amounts are kept confidential. All donations made to CLIC are 100% tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Why is 100% participation important? If we reach 100% we become eligible to apply for certain grants to help bring in even more funding for CLIC.
This year we have a bonus goal: SHADE!
If we exceed our overall $225,000 goal, additional funds will go towards a new shade structure over the play area. It gets hot out there on the blue top… Let’s make it happen, together!
Prefer to pay by check?
Great! If you prefer to pay via check, you can mail it in or drop it off in the main office along with the completed donation form (see below buttons for form). Please make checks payable to “City Language Immersion Charter” and address it to:

How much should I give?
Below we have some suggested guidelines, but whether you can give more than suggested, or less, please know every donation counts!
We understand that everyone’s ability to give is not the same. It takes a village to keep a community going. One of the deeply rooted values at CLIC is our socio-economic diversity and we thank you for all the ways you enrich us, including whatever amount you can give. Many of the top performing schools in California, both regular public and charter, supplement through family donations so that every child can succeed.
In the past, monthly donations at CLIC have ranged from $10 to $1,000.
Some families give 1-2 months of what they previously paid their former Pre-School/Daycare as their annual donation. Spread it out over monthly payments or give in a lump sum. It’s up to you!
Another way to think about how much might work for your family’s budget:
If your household income is…
Consider donating this amount per month…
Less than $50,000
$10 to $20
$50,000 to $99,999
$40 to $80
$100,000 to $199,999
$100 to $200
More than $200,000
$300 or more
