Parents Build Community at The City School Fall Harvest Festival and CLIC Bazaar & Kermes and Fundraise Nearly $500K in Annual Giving Drive

Our amazing parents continue to rally around us and exemplify the type of leadership we hope to instill in all City students. Thanks to the generosity and creativity of our parents, both The City School and CLIC are on track to exceed annual giving from prior years, raising close to $500k dollars between the two schools. The fundraising dollars go towards ensuring we continue our arts and enrichment programming, teacher assistants, amazing field trips, and other important program elements that set City Charter Schools apart.

Parents also held community-building fundraisers like the The City School Fall Harvest Festival and the CLIC Kermes/Holiday Bazaar, raising over $20k while bringing our community closer together. See some highlights in the pictures below.  Additionally, several City School parents are teaching elective courses, and CLIC parent volunteers secured a $3,000 Green Apple Day of Service grant which brought dozens of volunteers to our campus for greening and beautification projects.

We love our parent community, thank you for all you do!
