Board of Directors

Stephanie Romero-Crockett

Stephanie Romero-Crockett joined our team as Director of Community  Engagement and Operations in July 2014.  She brings to our organization  over 10 years of nonprofit management, outreach, and educational  advocacy. At City, she manages a range of administrative, logistical  and operational duties for our central office, including compliance  with numerous district, state and federal laws and related initiatives.  Additionally, she is charged with building relationships on behalf of City  with the communities we serve, vendors, funders and potential program  partners.

As a parent, Stephanie knows the importance of a school that supports the  academic and social well-being of students, and she is passionate about  working to ensure this opportunity for all students. Prior to joining City,  Stephanie worked for The Campaign for College Opportunity, advocating  on behalf of students to ensure they have the opportunity to go to college.  Her work in communications, community outreach, program development,  and grants management has all centered around providing educational  opportunities to students, and she is excited to continue these efforts at  City Charter Schools.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Westmont College.
